Paul Manafort is an American lobbyist, political consultant, and convicted felon who served as campaign manager for Donald Trump from June to August 2016. He was convicted in 2018 on eight counts of tax and bank fraud and later pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges. He was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison. In December 2020, President Trump granted him a full pardon. Manafort previously worked as a lobbyist for pro-Russian Ukrainian politicians.
