Oleg Deripaska is a Russian oligarch and billionaire, founder of RUSAL (the world's second-largest aluminum company) and En+ Group. Described as "Putin's favorite industrialist," leaked U.S. diplomatic cables identified him as "among the 2-3 oligarchs Putin turns to on a regular basis." He has an extensive financial relationship with Paul Manafort dating to 2004, with an estimated $60 million changing hands between their entities. He has been sanctioned by the U.S., UK, EU, and other nations.
