Michael Flynn is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who served as the 24th National Security Advisor for 22 days under President Trump. He resigned after information surfaced that he had misled Vice President Pence about his communications with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI in December 2017, later withdrew his plea, and was pardoned by President Trump on November 25, 2020.
