Michael Cohen is an American attorney who served as a personal attorney to Donald Trump from 2006 to 2018. In August 2018, he pleaded guilty to eight counts including campaign finance violations related to hush money payments to Stormy Daniels. He was sentenced to three years in prison. Cohen has since become a vocal critic of Trump and testified as the key witness in Trump's 2024 New York criminal trial, which resulted in Trump's conviction on 34 felony counts.
