Overview
Scott Turner is an American politician and former NFL player serving as the 19th United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development since February 5, 2025. He played in the NFL from 1995 to 2001 (including with the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, and Washington Redskins) and served in the Texas House of Representatives from 2013 to 2017. He was the first Executive Director of the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council during Trump's first term.
