Pam Bondi is an American attorney, lobbyist, and Republican politician serving as the 87th United States Attorney General since February 2025. She served as Florida Attorney General from 2011 to 2019 and was a member of Trump's defense team during his first impeachment trial. Bondi replaced original nominee Matt Gaetz, who withdrew amid a House Ethics investigation. She was sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
