Lee Zeldin is an American politician, attorney, and former U.S. Army officer serving as the 17th Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency since January 29, 2025. He served as U.S. Representative for New York's 1st congressional district from 2015 to 2023 and was the Republican nominee for Governor of New York in 2022, losing to Kathy Hochul.
