Trump Wins Upset Victory in 2016 Presidential Election

In one of the most shocking upsets in American political history, Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton to win the presidency. Trump secured 306 electoral votes to Clinton's 232, winning Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin by a combined 77,744 votes. Despite losing the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes, Trump's narrow victories in Rust Belt states delivered the presidency.
