Assassination Attempt on Trump at Butler Rally

During a campaign rally at the Butler Farm Show Grounds, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire from a rooftop approximately 130 yards from the stage. A bullet grazed Donald Trump's right ear. One attendee, Corey Comperatore, was killed while shielding his family. Two others were critically injured. Secret Service counter-snipers killed the shooter within seconds. As he was evacuated, Trump raised his fist defiantly while bleeding from his ear, shouting "Fight! Fight! Fight!" The image became an iconic symbol of his campaign.
