Russell Thurlow Vought

Russell Vought is an American government official serving as Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) since February 7, 2025. He previously served in the same role during the final 17 months of Trump's first term (2020-2021). He is the principal author of "Project 2025" and served as president of the Center for Renewing America, a think tank.
