Former White House Trade Advisor
Peter Navarro served as Trump's trade advisor throughout his first term. In 2022, he was indicted for contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena from the House January 6 Committee. He was convicted on two counts in 2023 and sentenced to four months in prison, becoming the first White House official imprisoned on a contempt conviction. He served his sentence March-July 2024.
