Margarita Simonovna Simonyan

Margarita Simonyan is a Russian journalist and the editor-in-chief of RT (Russia Today) and Rossiya Segodnya (Russia Today International News Agency). She has led RT since its launch in 2005 and has been a key figure in Russian state propaganda efforts. Simonyan has been sanctioned by the United States and European Union for her role in promoting Kremlin narratives and disinformation.
