Erik Prince is an American businessman, former U.S. Navy SEAL officer, and founder of the private military company Blackwater. He is the brother of Betsy DeVos. After Blackwater controversies, he founded Frontier Resource Group, which provides security services in Africa and the Middle East. He has close ties to UAE leadership and has been involved in various covert operations. He met secretly with Trump associates after the 2016 election to establish backchannels.
