Trump Attorney (Classified Documents Case)
Christopher Kise is a former Florida Solicitor General who served as lead attorney in Trump's classified documents case. He left his partnership at Foley & Lardner to represent Trump, reportedly receiving a $3 million upfront retainer. Kise handled the defense in the 37-count indictment related to willful retention of national defense information. The case was dismissed by Judge Aileen Cannon in July 2024. He also represented Trump in the New York civil fraud trial.
