Decentralized far-right anti-government movement founded by Michael Vanderboegh in 2008. Name derives from inaccurate claim that only 3% of colonists fought British during Revolution. Ideology includes anti-government militia movement, gun rights advocacy, opposition to federal overreach, and recent expansion to oppose immigrants, Muslims, Antifa. January 6 participation included members present at Capitol attack and six men indicted for conspiracy (California chapter). Canada designated as terrorist entity (June 2021).
